It has taken me some time to write this bio.. I guess it's not really a bio but an introduction. An introduction to my company, the Fitness Training Pros.. an introduction to the wonderful group of individuals assembled around me that have inspired me to make more of myself, to motivate me into creating an environment where one can prosper both as an individual and as a collective group of fitness professionals.
My goal..our goal as fitness professionals is educate, to motivate and to inspire our clients. To educate them by giving them the tools to get fit and introducing them to the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle. To motivate them into exceeding their expectations and to inspire them with our passion for health and fitness.
All of our trainers are individual business owners.. but we operate as a collective group of fitness professionals that are dedicated to their clients. We understand the human anatomy.. understand what it's like to experience injury.. yes understand what it's like to cope with a major illness and the challenges life has to offer..
So many interesting and exciting things have been happening to me, and around me... My current struggle with esophageal cancer(click to find out more)has given me a broader perspective on health... on the significance of being strong and being fit. A year of feeding tubes, radiation, surgery and more chemo has given me a broader understanding of the difference between being fit and being healthy. It has given me some insight on human struggle.. has provided an understanding of one's mental capacity for fighting life's challenges and has given me a perspective that may be helpful to others in need.
I did not choose to become ill... but I have chosen not to let my the disease dictate my life. The cancer is gone.. and my spirit is strong..
You may know someone now that is facing similar challenges... support them... love them and stand by them as they continue to live their life. Encourage them to get off their couch when energy allows..
I realize fitness is a struggle for many... life's busy... children, spouses and additional demands for time make training less of a priority. But maintaining a state of good health and adequate fitness become most important when dealing with a hectic schedule or life's challenges.
My clients.. our clients come from all walks of life. Teachers, students, business professionals and inspiring athletes.. all with a common goal of improving the quality of their lives. We help seniors improve functional movement, help athletes excel at the demands of their sport, help mothers get back in shape and help adolescents loose weight and transform their self esteem.
So give us a call and see what we have to offer. We are different than most. We offer more than most and hopefully we can challenge you to exceed more than you could have imagine ...

I could have stayed on my couch.. let my illness get me down. But I have chosen a different path. Life goes on and I refuse to miss a minute more than I must.. when I wake up.. I get up.. When I feel weak.. I train.. When I get released from the hospital.. I'm at work @ 5am the next morning ..
